Provenance: Since the 1800's the blue willow pattern has been a favorite of landed gentry and royalty worldwide. The legend of the blue willow pattern speaks of two lovers who were forbidden to marry by the wishes of the brides father but pledged to seal their union the day the blossom fell from the willow tree.
Condition: Excellent. Stamped on backside. Some yellowing on surface due to age. One small hairline crack visible on backside but completely intact and solid.
